Inventory Management

The inherent structure within FTS provides for an inventory management function that is dictated by Service Orders and other technology planning and management efforts for voice, data, wireless and IT equipment. All inventory created, modified or removed from FTS is done through a service order process, providing a traceable audit trail for every change that happens to your equipment inventory. Workflow includes FTS interfacing with telephone systems for DID and facilities information feeds to represent a status as available or assigned, to assist with provisioning and in syncing data sources to a common baseline. All inventory depending on the equipment type can be assigned to either a person and cost center or to various cost centers. FTS Inventory will store all data associated with your voice, data, wireless and IT equipment inventory from circuit diagramming to inventory in use or spare equipment – FTS is a must for any organization looking to centralize and manage their telecommunications equipment and services.
