City of Philadelphia Picks UTR for Call Accounting, Personnel Directory and 311 Services

Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey – July 1, 2009 - UTR, a firm that specializes in providing Telemanagement Expense and Asset Management software and service solutions was chosen by The City of Philadelphia to provide a software solution for Centrex Call Accounting, Personnel Directory (both web and paper version) and to interface with existing 311 services for information updating and operator assistance in personnel look-up and call placement.

To meet information challenges, accountability of telephone expense and provide better service to City personnel and the citizenry, The City of Philadelphia, our Nation’s 6th largest city will utilize UTR’s Financial Telemanagement System (FTS) to meet a number of strategic management initiatives. “We are very excited about this project and look forward to working with City personnel on rolling out the FTS system to the various departments of City government,” says Patrick Connolly, President of UTR. In addition to everyday service and support, UTR is providing an onsite FTS specialist for 1 day each month to help the City continue to leverage the power of effective telecommunications management through the use of the FTS system. “Our White-Glove Service will support the City’s continued operation of FTS and reinforce a consistent data source that feeds other City applications and services”, adds Chad Thorpe, Software Services Manager for UTR.
