CIBC to manage Corporate Desktops using FTS as the primary asset repository.

Toronto, Ontario – January 30, 2007 – UTR, the leader in financial telemanagement solutions and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) expand the current FTS software installation to manage all corporate personal computer Desktops, including all peripheral equipment and associated port information. FTS will replace existing software systems at CIBC as the primary asset repository for all telecommunications and corporate desktops.

The decision to manage corporate desktops came on the success CIBC experienced implementing FTS to manage their telecommunications assets and expenses. With the results produced on managing telecommunications assets, CIBC felt the internal database infrastructure and core business process within FTS would provide the needed rigor to manage the desktop business assets. FTS provides CIBC with the ability to report on all assets to the cost center, employee and location level, giving the Bank a quick drill down to see who has got what, where it is and how much it costs.

Donald Murphy, UTR’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing comments, "FTS without any modification easily accommodated CIBC’s need to manage their corporate desktops and associated ports. As telecommunications and IT continue to converge and other companies need a dependable and cost effective application or service to manage their assets and expenses, UTR is ready to answer the call with FTS."
