RBC chooses UTR to implement FTS Software and develop a business process to manage the Bank’s data services.
Toronto, Ontario – August 25, 2006 – UTR, the leader in financial telemanagement solutions for voice, data and wireless expenses and assets has signed a Software Agreement and Consulting Services Contract with the Royal Bank of Canada.
Royal Bank has purchased UTR’s FTS (Financial Telemanagement System) and contracted for implementation services that include a financial scrub of all vendor billing, the centralization of vendor billing with the Bank’s corporate structure in a single database (FTS) and the development of business process services that will guide the provisioning and invoice reconciliation and payment process. The Bank will be using a licensed version of FTS which will run on their network. Additionally, the Bank will be taking advantage of UTR’s unique “leave behind” program whereby a UTR FTS specialist will remain onsite for 1 year to assist with the roll-out and daily operational duties. RBC is Canada’s largest chartered Bank. It has over 1,300 branches across Canada, over 60,000 employees worldwide, and offices in over 30 countries.
Patrick Connolly, UTR’s President comments, “This project will allow RBC to better manage their provisioning process with integrated asset management as well as map the spend for equipment and services directly to user consumption.”
