Gartner, GSA, Metro Toronto Police and Collicutt Energy - UTR expands and diversifies into new markets.

Englewood Cliffs, New JerseyJune 15, 2005UTR, the leader in financial telemanagement solutions continues to expand and persify its marketing approach and opportunities by signing an agreement with Gartner, being awarded GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract and being chosen by both Metro Toronto Police and Collicutt Energy to provide billing verification services.

In an effort to continue our market leadership in the telephone expense management sector, UTR has committed to a Research Agreement with Gartner.  “Our relationship with Gartner will keep FTS, our core offering to the Fortune 1000 community, fresh,” states Donald Murphy, UTR’s VP of Sales and Marketing.  Gartner's 500 analysts provide in-depth analysis on virtually all aspects of technology and telecommunications, including hardware, software and systems, services, IT management, market data and forecasts, and vertical industry issues.

UTR’s acceptance to the GSA Federal Supply Schedule # 70 will allow for expansion into the Government Marketplace with our Financial Telemanagement System (FTS) and associated implementation services.  “The marketing opportunities are endless and there is a real need to manage the vendor bills, assets and service order process at the government level,” comments Renee Natali, UTR’s GSA expert.   GSA secures the buildings, products, services, technology, and other workplace essentials federal agencies need.  13,000 GSA associates support over one million federal workers located in 8,000 government-owned and leased buildings in 2,000 U.S. communities and overseas.

Metro Toronto Police and Collicutt Energy have contracted with UTR for a complete bill verification of all vendor accounts.   “Both accounts represent very different profiles; Metro Police is a larger client with complex monthly billing while Collicutt is much smaller and has more straight-forward billing,” says Michael Sullivan, UTR’s VP of Audit Services.  Mr. Sullivan goes on to say that regardless of the account size, history has proven that errors exist on virtually all vendor bills.
