Company History
UTR was founded in 1991 and built on the idea that all telephone bills are wrong until proven correct by a series of audit activities. During our initial years our focus was finding billing errors and returning you your money.
Our inquisitive nature to find mistakes - billing overcharges, miscalculated rates and tariffs, duplicated billing, etc. - evolved into how do you prevent these mistakesfrom occurring in the first place. We now were on a search for a software solution; however our evaluation of existing products in the marketplace left us unsatisfied. In 1996 we developed our own software and services with the sole purpose to link current inventory data with financial and contractual data to develop a dynamic centralized asset repository. Our solution was to be comprehensive, functional, systematic, web-based and easy-to-use. Our solution is FTS.
